The road so far...

I began my work in education as a teacher of English where I shared my love of stories. What happened was I became struck by the power of narratives to shape our lives, cultures and realities. I began my work in wellbeing and harm-reduction as Principal teacher of a residential school where I learned that the practice of awareness, language of kindness and narrative of hope changed our experiences of teaching and caring and changed the experience of our young people.
In all of my roles, as Teacher, as Wellbeing and Harm-Reduction Advisor for Quarriers, Learning Advisor at BBC and Creative Director at Youth Mindfulness I have been committed to supporting communities to grow environments and systems where compassion, awareness and wellbeing can flourish. Everything you need is already in you. I'm just passionate about helping you realise it.

"Our task must be to free ourselves... by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and it's beauty."
